This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out what is and isn’t permitted when using this website and, where applicable, the PRSM service operated by [Legal entity name] (“PRSM”).
This document is a starting template and must be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before it is relied upon.
Lawful, legitimate purpose
You may use PRSM only for legitimate due-diligence, risk-management, and compliance purposes, and only where you have a lawful basis to request and process information about the people and entities you submit.
Prohibited uses
You must not use the website or service to:
- Break any applicable law or regulation, including data-protection, anti-discrimination, sanctions, and surveillance laws.
- Process information for harassment, stalking, intimidation, or to facilitate harm to any individual.
- Make adverse decisions about an individual in a way that applicable law prohibits, or treat a signal, allegation, or indirect association as a proven fact.
- Re-identify, scrape, resell, or redistribute reports or evidence except as permitted by your agreement with us.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to, disrupt, or probe our systems (see our Responsible Disclosure policy for the authorized path to report security issues).
- Upload malware, or content you have no right to provide.
Use of intelligence
PRSM reports preserve confidence, uncertainty, and the difference between direct and indirect exposure for a reason. You agree to honor that nuance and not to present PRSM findings as more certain than the report states.
Enforcement
We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates this AUP or that we reasonably believe creates legal or security risk, in line with the applicable client agreement.
